Peer Review of CPA firms

Thomas & Company C.P.A., P.A., is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute for CPAs. We participate in the AICPA Peer Review program, a voluntary self -regulatory program organized to promote the highest standards of professionalism and assure the public of quality audit performance.

To be a member of the AICPA or the FICPA, any CPA firm that provides accounting or auditing services is required to undergo a peer review every three years. Thomas & Company strives to maintain a high level of quality for all CPA firms and is recognized by both the AICPA and the FICPA for performing these reviews. We have the flexibility and depth of industry knowledge and expertise to review firms of all sizes in the areas of Single Audit, GAAS Audit, HUD Audit, Condo Association Audits, etc. Our Managing Partner, Mr. Jose Thomas CPA, is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves as a Team Captain on all such engagements.

Effective January 1, 2015, all firms performing audits or engagements under the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAEs) that are not compilations or reviews are required to enroll and undergo a peer review in 2016. Thomas & Company C.P.A., P.A. is the firm dedicated to providing services in a friendly, professional, economical, qualitative, and efficient manner.
